Terms of sale
Last updated: February 2026
These terms govern every purchase made through this site.
Overview
These terms govern every purchase made through this site. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we send the order confirmation email and take payment.
By ordering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are buying with the agreement of the person who holds the payment method. If you are buying as a business, you confirm you are authorised to enter the contract on its behalf.
Section 1 — Seller
The seller is Veloro, a sole establishment registered in the United Arab Emirates. The registered name, address and registration number appear on your order confirmation and on the legal notice page.
We can be reached through the contact page, and email us there for anything relating to an order.
Section 2 — Products
We describe each piece as accurately as we can, but screens vary and natural materials vary more. Shade, grain and finish differences between two pieces of the same model are inherent to hand-cut leather and are not defects.
Photographs show the piece you will receive. Where a piece is made to order and will differ slightly from the photograph, we say so on the product page.
Dimensions are given in millimetres and are measured with a tolerance of ±3 mm. If a piece you received is materially outside its stated size, tell us and we will make it right.
Section 3 — Orders
Orders are placed through this site. We can refuse or cancel an order where a product is mispriced, out of stock, or where we suspect fraud. Where we cancel an order that has already been paid, the full amount is refunded.
Where an order is cancelled after dispatch has been arranged, we will also cover the return postage.
Section 4 — Prices and payment
Prices are shown in UAE dirhams and include VAT for United Arab Emirates destinations; orders shipped outside the UAE may have import duty payable by you on delivery.
Payment is taken by our payment provider. Card details are handled by them and never reach our systems. We accept the major card networks and the payment methods shown at checkout.
If a payment is authorised but not captured within a reasonable time, the authorisation simply lapses and no funds are taken.
Section 5 — Delivery and risk of loss
Delivery estimates are set out on the shipping policy page and begin when the parcel is handed to Emirates Post, not when the order is placed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
Where an order is materially delayed and we cannot supply a revised date, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
Section 6 — Errors and omissions
We may correct an obvious pricing or typographical error before dispatch, and we will cancel rather than deliver at the wrong price.
If an error appears after dispatch, contact us and we will either make the product match the corrected information or refund you in full.
Section 7 — Legal guarantees
Nothing in these terms limits the guarantees and remedies you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. You are always entitled to a remedy for goods that are not of satisfactory quality, not as described, or not fit for the purpose you told us about.
Your right to cancel, how refunds are issued, and the manufacturing warranty are all set out on the returns page.
Section 8 — Limitation of liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, including business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Section 9 — Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier failure, postal strikes, customs delays, severe weather, or the interruption of our suppliers or utilities.
Where such an event makes an order impossible to deliver for more than 60 days, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
Section 10 — Indemnification
You agree not to use the site or its content unlawfully, and to indemnify us against any claim that arises from your misuse of the site, our photographs or our name in a way we have not approved in writing.
Section 11 — Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply unchanged.
Section 12 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory protections available to you where you live.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence.
Section 13 — Consumer mediation
Before going to court, please raise the problem with us so we have a chance to put it right. If we cannot settle it, you may use an accredited consumer mediator free of charge.
The mediator for your country is named on your order confirmation.
Section 14 — Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you placed the order, and the date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
Section 15 — Contact
By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not order, and contact us instead — we would rather answer a question than resolve a dispute.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page, and reach the workshop directly.
